North American Prayer Summit
A Gathering Around Prayer in Kansas City
At 100Movements, we are continually returning to the conviction that movements are formed in the presence of God before they are ever expressed through people, structures, or strategy. If the work of disciple-making is ever going to mature and multiply, it will first be rooted in a life of prayer that shapes both leaders and communities over time.
Because of that, we want to make you aware of a gathering taking place this fall.
On September 18–19, disciple-makers from across North America will gather in Kansas City for the North America Prayer Summit.
The intention of the summit is to create space for sustained, focused prayer for the sake of gospel movement across cities, regions, and networks. Those who gather will spend time seeking God together, listening for His leading, and strengthening relationships with others who are pursuing multiplication in their own contexts. There will also be practical guidance offered to help leaders cultivate rhythms of prayer that are simple enough to live and strong enough to reproduce.
We are especially grateful that Shodankeh Johnson will be serving during this time. His life and leadership have shaped movements where prayer has remained central, and he carries a depth of experience in helping others enter into that same kind of dependence on God.
Prayer is not an early phase that gives way to activity. It remains a continual return, shaping how we discern, how we lead, and how we participate in what Jesus is doing.
