Dele Okuwobi: Building Love and Unity in a Divided World
Why the Church must practice reconciliation—not just talk about it
At 100Movements, we love shining a light on partners who are courageously pioneering mission across the West. This month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Dele Okuwobi and the transformative work of the Wonder Association.
Dele is a leader who believes the Church can be a powerful force for love, unity, and reconciliation in a divided world. Through the Wonder Association, he helps individuals, churches, and organizations collaborate for lasting change by offering resources that foster learning, growth, and action toward a better world.
One of Wonder’s key initiatives, the Love & Unity Project, equips churches and leaders to confront bias and prejudice with grace and truth. Dele’s passion is to see the Church reflect the fullness of God’s Kingdom, where justice, righteousness, and love are lived out in everyday relationships and communities.
In this story, Dele shares his insight into how the Church can lead people to come together across differences and why he believes unity isn’t just an ideal, it’s a practice the Church must embody. It’s a powerful reminder that when we pursue reconciliation together, we reflect the very heart of Christ.
We hope Dele’s story encourages you and your community to take fresh steps toward love, unity, and collaborative mission in your context. Together, we can build movements that embody the gospel and transform the world.
